•Edward L. Tobin, 60, of Greenville, charged by the Lawrence County district attorney with harassment.
New Castle police charged the following people:
•William A. Hurd, 59, of New Castle, public drunkenness and similar misconduct.
•Anthony A. Moss Jr., 24, of New Castle, criminal mischief.
•Nathan Perkins, 51, of New Castle, giving false identification to a law officer.
•Cory Colich, 28, of New Castle, nine counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of public drunkenness and similar misconduct.
•Christopher Joseph Little, 23, of Wampum, three counts of discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, two counts each of aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person and one count each of criminal attempt, robbery, terroristic threats, firearm not to be carried without a license and simple assault.

•Brian Glenn Weber, 50, of Enon Valley, charged by state police with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of failure to keep right, turning movements and required signals violation, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and reckless driving.
Ellwood City police charged the following people:
•Jamie Fay Patterson, 14, of Ellwood City, harassment.
•Kyle C. Docchio, 15, of Ellwood City, use of tobacco in school.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission charged the following people:
•Chad A. Kirkpatrick of Ellwood City, underage use of firearm without proper accompaniment.
•Michael Joseph Engle, 22, of Enon Valley, unlawful presence of a loaded firearm in vehicle.
•Michael Jeffrey Davis, 26, of Enon Valley, use of artificial/natural bait violation.
•Aaron Scott Freed, 29, of Enon Valley, unlawful presence of a loaded firearm in vehicle.

•Melissa Ann Kline, 44, of New Castle, charged by the Lawrence County district attorney with two counts each of failure to apply for dog license and failure to have dog or cat vaccinated and one count each of pet confinement and control violation and failure to keep dog licensed.
Scott A. McGrath
•Walter L. Simmons, 59, of Masury, Ohio, charged by Pulaski Township police with harassment.
•Samuel S. Kantz, 74, of New Castle, charged by the Pennsylvania Game Commission with violation of the rules and regulations of the commission.

Ellwood City club receives citation
An Ellwood City club has been cited for gambling activities. The Pennsylvania Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement has cited the Ellwood City Saxon Club at 901 Millview St.

Suspect in officer’s death jailed in county
Kylee Gwen Barletto was composed walking into court Monday until a television reporter pelted her with questions. Escorted by two state troopers, she was asked, “What do you have to say to the police officer’s family?” “I’m sorry,” she uttered as she was ushered into the court lobby. Then she burst into tears.

Prosecutors granted stay in Jordan Brown decision
A hearing on the status of a boy accused in a 2009 fatal shooting has been canceled. The hearing on 15-year-old Jordan Brown’s detention had been planned for Lawrence County Court today, but was canceled after prosecutors requested, and received, a stay in the proceedings.

Suspect in officer’s death is arraigned
Kylee Barletto was arraigned this morning by District Judge Jerry Cartwright. She is being lodged in the Lawrence County jail on $250,000 bond. Barletto, 25, is charged with homicide by vehicle and 14 other counts in the May 2 death of Shenango Township police officer William J. McCarthy IV.
