On the Record: Today's police items and district judge reports

NEW CASTLE


•Burglary. Several electronic game sets, two televisions, a garbage can, a book bag and women’s underwear were stolen from a home in the 1100 block of Summit Street between 2:30 and 6 p.m. Tuesday. Police found fingerprints and shoe scuffs at the scene.

•Arrest. Police took Anthony Leo Sipe, 24, of 504 E. Reynolds St. into custody around 2 p.m. Wednesday on North Mill Street. He was wanted on a bench warrant from the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio for drug charges. He is to be extradited to Ohio and is charged locally with arrest prior to requisition as a fugitive from justice.

•Arrest. Police arrested Craig A. Glavan, 37, of 302 Fern St., for allegedly trying to have fake prescriptions with a doctor’s name on them filled at a downtown pharmacy for Alprazolam, an antidepressant narcotic, and oxycodone.

New Castle police charged the following people:

•Christopher Shawn Faulkman, 38, of New Castle, manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and conspiracy.

•Issac Anderson, 27, of New Castle, three counts of intent to possess a controlled substance, two counts each of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and conspiracy and one count each of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and flight to avoid apprehension, trial or punishment.

•Steven G. Stunkard, 36, of New Castle, access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception, receiving stolen property and intent to possess a controlled substance.

•Michael Masters, 41, of New Castle, disorderly conduct.

•Richard Kohlmetz, 46, of New Castle, two counts of public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

•Craig A. Glavan, 37, of New Castle, acquirement or obtaining possession of controlled substances by misrepresentation.

•Danny Williams, 54, of New Castle, charged by state police with operating vehicle without valid inspection and five counts of engaging in business without required license.

Union Township police charged the following people:

•Thomas M. Fehrenbach, 23, of New Castle, corruption of minors and disorderly conduct.

•Rachel John, 28, of Bethel Park, Pa., retail theft, conspiracy and theft by unlawful taking.

State police charged the following people:

•Christopher Isaiah Waters, 21, of New Castle, burglary, robbery, theft by unlawful taking and conspiracy.

•Ronald E. Clark II, 41, of New Castle, two counts of robbery and one count each of burglary, firearms not to be carried without a license and recklessly endangering another person.

•Christopher Shawn Faulkman, 38, of New Castle, charged by the Lawrence County district attorney with failure to apply for dog license and vaccination against rabies required violation.

Hickory Township police charged the following people:

•Todd Robert Lamoree, 50, of Sharon, two counts of driving under the influence and one count of careless driving.

•Jeffery S. McNicholas Jr., 18, of New Castle, simple assault and harassment.

•Justin N. Hite, of Camden Wyoming, Del., charged by the Lawrence County district attorney with bad checks.
