Former vo-tech worker’s hearing continued

NEW CASTLE — The preliminary hearing for Chastity Williams, former vo-tech assistant business manager, has been continued.

The new time and date are 11:30 a.m. May 8.

The hearing originally had been scheduled for Tuesday.

Williams, 37, of Union Township is facing theft-related charges for allegedly taking more than $92,000 from the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center through unauthorized overtime pay.

The alleged discrepancies in her pay were uncovered by a forensic audit that had been ordered by the center’s joint operating committee, which had hired auditors Zelenkofske-Axelrod of Wexford in October to examine records from March 1, 2010, through Aug. 30, 2013.

Have you held or will you hold a garage/yard sale this year?

I have and it was a success! It's a great way to get rid of some junk and make a little extra pocket money.
I have, but it didn't go over so well. Better luck next time?
I haven't yet, but I plan to.
I haven't and I don't plan to. It's not for me.
