Video: Announcer goes nuts over shot

One college basketball play-by-play radio host likely needed some throat lozenges when he woke up Sunday morning, a day after his shocked, screaming reaction to a game-winning basket.

The improbable goal came at the end of the game between Lindsey Wilson College and Georgetown college. Lindsey Wilson was down by 2 with just seconds left in the game, and senior guard Chase Spreen got the rebound after a missed free throw. Spreen dribbled once and then launched the ball across the court.

"GOOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!," the radio announcer screamed. "He hit it from the free throw line on the other side! Unbelievable! It's the most unbelievable shot I’ve ever seen in my life!"

The team and fans in the arena erupted in cheers, as the Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders won the game 79-78.
