Faith Story: Meet David Jacobs of Union Township

NEW CASTLE — “God, can you show me your love?”

That’s the question David Jacobs asked years ago, and it began opening some of the most challenging avenues for him. Very quickly though, his eyes were opened at the grace and love that God was showering him with.

Jacobs, 18, who lives in Union Township, said he finds truth in Matthew 7:14: “But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

While the road can sometimes be narrow and lonely and what seems to look like something not pleasing to the eye, only those who have traveled on it and have seen the impact can truly say it’s worth it.

And that’s what David Jacobs has to say about putting his life in God’s hands.

(Our “Faith Story” feature appears every other Tuesday on www.ncnewsonline.com. If you, or someone you know, is interested in being interviewed for this "Faith Story" project, please contact Mackenzie Summerville at summerml@wclive.westminster.edu.)
