The engagement of Bethany Ann Agnew of 1517 W. Grant St. and Matthew Ritchie is being announced by the bride-to-be’s parents, David Agnew and Tina Conti of 1910 McCracken Drive. Miss Agnew is also the daughter of the late Marjorie Agnew.
Parents of the future groom are Frank and Carol Ritchie of 3264 State Road.
He is a 2001 graduate of Laurel High School and attended Butler County Community College. He majored in emergency services police option, and plans on attending the Police Academy at Indiana University of Pennsylvania next January. He works for Hoffman Fence.
His fiancée is a 2001 graduate of Union High School and completed the nursing program in 2009 at the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. She is a nurse at Golden Hill Nursing Home.
A Sept. 18 wedding is being planned at Wallace Memorial Chapel at Westminster College.
The reception will be at The Alpine Room at SNPJ.
