Bria Aili Tervo of 1537 Lindsey Road and Dr. Edward Ryan Westrick of Pittsburgh are announcing their engagement and plans for a late summer wedding.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Diana Tervo of New Castle and the late Jim Tervo.
The future groom is a son of Linda and Ed Westrick of 2911 Glenda Drive.
Miss Tervo, a 1999 alumna of Neshannock High School, graduated in 2003 from Duquesne University, where she received her bachelor of science degree. She earned a master of physician assistant in 2004.
She is a cardiology physician assistant at Diagnostic Cardiology Association in Youngstown and has accepted a position in Pittsburgh at Southwestern Pennsylvania Cardiovascular Association.
Her fiancé is a 1998 graduate of Laurel High School.
He is also an alumnus of Duquesne University, where he received a bachelor of athletic training in 2002.
In May 2006, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine and is an orthopedic surgery resident at UPMC, Pittsburgh.
An outdoor wedding on Sept. 16 at the bride’s home is being planned, with a reception at the New Castle Country Club.
