Mark and Cindy Panella of 2010 Glendale Ave. are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Marie Panella, also of Glendale Avenue, and Brian Thomas Mateja of 316 East Elizabeth St. He is a son of Tom and Elaine Mateja of 3225 Meadow Lane.
The bride-to-be is a New Castle Senior High graduate who earned her degree from Slippery Rock University. She works as a client relations manager.
The future groom is a graduate of Neshannock High School and works as an operator for Neshannock Township.
A wedding is being planned for Feb. 4, 2010, at The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, Orlando, Fla.
A summer gathering in New Castle will be announced.
