The engagement and September wedding plans for April Marie Kordish and Jason Edward Lemmon are being announced by the bride-to-be’s parents, Barbara Kordish and Charles Kordish, both of New Castle.
The future groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Lemmon, also of New Castle.
Miss Kordish is a 1997 graduate of New Castle High School graduating in 2001 from Slippery Rock University. She received a bachelor of science degree in education, majoring in elementary and early childhood education with a minor in special education.
She graduated in 2008 from Penn State University with a master of education degree in teaching and curriculum
She is a pre-kindergarten teacher for New Castle Area School District.
Her future groom is a 1996 Ne-Ca-Hi alumnus. He is a laser technician at Praxair Surface Technologies.
The couple will wed on Sept. 19, 2009, in the Wallace Memorial Chapel at Westminster College.
The reception will follow at the Bessemer Croation Club.
