JoAnne Blaski of Youngstown is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Stephanie A. Blaski of 412 1/2 W. Madison Ave., and Timothy L. Seikel of Perry Hall, Md.
Miss Blaski also is a daughter of the late Edward Blaski.
She is a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown, receiving her bachelor of science degree from Bowling Green State University and her master of arts from Kent State University.
She is a speech language pathologist for Jameson Health System.
The future groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Seikel of Warren, Ohio.
He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Warren and holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Bowling Green State University.
He is assistant superintendent of Severstal Steel, Baltimore.
The couple will wed during an open ceremony Oct. 17, 2009, at St. Matthias Church, Youngstown.
Invitations will be issued for the reception at The Georgetown.
