Traean R. Aldan Jr. and Judy A. Aldan of 203 Ashberry Lane are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rachel A. Aldan, and Christopher A. Hope of Port Orchard, Wash. He is a son of Michael A. Hope of Del City, Okla.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of New Castle High School. She is an alumna of the University of South Carolina and works for the Bank of America.
Her future groom is a 2007 graduate of Del City High School. He is a machinist mate second class serving in the Navy on the USS John C. Stennis.
Their wedding will take place in the spring of 2013 in Charleston, S.C.
