Corey L. Lemmon, Heidi A. Smedley

NEW CASTLE — The engagement of Corey Lee Lemmon and Heidi Ann Smedley is being announced. The groom-elect is a son of Denise Lemmon of New Castle and the late Duane Lemmon. His future wife is a daughter of Terry and Kathleen Smedley of Glassport.

The future groom is a 2000 graduate of New Castle High School and received a bachelor of science degree in safety and environmental management from Slippery Rock University in 2004. He is an environmental, health and safety manager at Philips/Respironics in Murrysville.

His bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of South Allegheny High School and graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. She is a project manager at Philips/Respironics in Monroeville.

A fall wedding is being planned.
