Jeff and Sue Gehm of 101 Alan Way are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Sue and Patrick Jon Silvester. He is a son of Rick and Pam Silvester of 2713 Mill Bridge Road.
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Shenango High School. She is studying elementary and special education at Slippery Rock University where she will graduate in 2010.
Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate of Laurel High School who attended New Castle School of Trades, earning his diploma in 2008.
He is a sales associate at Advance Auto Parts.
An April 2011 wedding is being planned.
