Gary and MaryLynn Bucci of 203 E. Winter Ave. are announcing the engagement of their daughter, April Lynn Smiley and John Joseph Cook of 129 N. Cascade St.
The future groom is a son of the late Domenick “Shiga” and Barbara Cook.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of New Castle High School and attends Butler County Community College. She is a medical service representative at Liberty Mutual.
Her fiance is also a NeCaHi alumnus and works as a salesman for WR Cade Paving.
A wedding is being planned for May 8, 2010, at St. James Chapel in Boardman Park.
