Karen and Theodore Grauel III of Ballston Spa, N.Y. are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Susan Grauel and Patrick Carpenter. He is a son of Debra and Patrick Carpenter of Woodbridge, Conn.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and Siena College where she received a bachelor’s degree in American studies.
Her future husband graduated from Murrieta Valley High School and the U.S. Military Academy with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and aerospace. He is a 2nd lieutenant in the Army.
Their wedding will take place Dec. 28, 2012, at St. Mary’s Church, Ballston Spa.
