The Rev. Michael and Susan Wells of New Castle are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Elizabeth, to Michael Joseph Blundo. Parents of the future groom are Ralph and Linda Blundo, also of New Castle.
The bride-to-be graduated in 2001 from Neshannock High School. From 2001 to 2003 she was a student at Mercyhurst. She received her degree from ITT Technical Institute in 2004.
She is director of sales and marketing for Shenango Presbyterian Senior Care.
Her fiancé graduated from New Castle High School in 1997 and then attended Slippery Rock University.
He is a salesman for Pennsylvania Tool & Service.
A July 24, 2010, wedding is being planned at First Baptist Church of New Castle. The reception will follow at the Scottish Rite Cathedral.
