Roger and Linda Monaco of 1013 Williams St. are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Carly Rose Monaco, and Robert Anthony Bartle, both of Herndon, Va., a suburb of Washington, D.C.
Parents of the future groom are Robert and Deborah Bartle of Atlanta, Ga.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of New Castle High School and earned her degree in 2005 from Westminster College. She is a fourth-grade teacher at Weems Elementary in Manassas, Va.
Her fiancé is a 2001 graduate of Moon High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Michigan. He is an attorney.
The couple will wed Sept. 5, 2010, at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort, Bedford, Pa.
