Kathryn E. Henderson, Steven K. LeGault

NEW CASTLE — David Henderson and Brenda McBride of Slippery Rock are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Eliza Henderson, to Steven Kerr LeGault. He is a son of Susan LeGault of New Castle and David LeGault of Kansas City, Mo.  

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Laurel High School and Penn State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in biobehavorial Health. In 2011, she earned her master’s degree in physcian assistant studies from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

She is a physician assistant with Triangle Urological Group in Pittsburgh.

Her future groom also graduated from Laurel High School and Penn State University. At Penn State, he earned a bachelor’s degree in biobehavorial health and minor degree in health policy and administration. In 2010, he earned his doctor of chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, S.C.

In 2011, Dr. LeGault opened LeGault Chiropractic in the North Hills of Pittsburgh.

A May 26, 2013, wedding is planned in Charleston, S.C.

The Lawrence County commissioners have decided to solicit proposals for the private operation of the county jail. Good idea?

Yes. If it’s a more efficient way to run the jail, I’m all for it.
No. I think there would be too many questions of liability for the county.
Not sure. The county seems to be doing a good job of running the jail now. Why break it if it’s not broken?
