Winter Ave. are announcing the engagement of their daughter, April Lynn Smiley and John Joseph Cook of 129 N. Cascade St. The future groom is a son of the late Domenick “Shiga” and Barbara Cook. The bride-to-be is a graduate of New Castle High School and attends Butler County Community College. She is a medical service representative at Liberty Mutual. Her fiance is also a NeCaHi alumnus and works as a salesman for WR Cade Paving. A wedding is being planned for May 8, 2010, at St. James Chapel in Boardman Park.
