Frank and Linda Tukalo of New Castle are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Marie, to Nicholas Robert Sciarro. He is a son of Cheryl Sciarro of New Castle and Bob Sciarro of Beaver Falls.

The bride-to-be is a New Castle High School graduate who earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her doctorate of physical therapy from Slippery Rock University. She is a physical therapist.

Her fiancé is also a Ne-Ca-Hi alumnus who holds his degree from Allegheny College. He is a teacher.

A wedding is being planned for June 19, 2010, at St. Vitus Church with a reception following at Mr. Anthony’s.
