Raymond and Susan Wilson of New Castle are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Renee, and Joshua Brian Vannoy, also of New Castle. His parents are Brian and Nina Vannoy of Ellwood City.
The bride-elect is a graduate of New Castle High School and attends Youngstown State University.
The future groom is an alumnus of Mohawk High School and is a student at Butler County Community College.
An Aug. 9, 2008, wedding in Beaver County is being planned.
