Ruth Ann and John Herman III of Bessemer are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their son, Christopher Andrew Herman of Smalls Ferry Road, Bessemer, and Amanda Sue Dyke of East Palestine, Ohio.
She is a daughter of Sherry and Gary Dyke of East Palestine.
The bride-to-be graduated from East Palestine High School and Youngstown State University. She teaches fourth grade at East Palestine Elementary School.
The future groom graduated from Mohawk High School and earned degrees from YSU and Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. He is a ninth-grade health and physical education teacher in the Moon Area School District.
The couple will wed June 28, 2008, at First Church of Christ in East Palestine.
