Diane and Joseph Offie of New Castle are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Michele Ann Offie, and Shawn Caldararo of 406 E. Northview Ave.
The future groom is a son of Dwight Caldararo of New Castle and Margaret Reighert of New Castle.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Neshannock High School and attended Slippery Rock University. She works in management at Greer House, Assisted Living.
Her fiancé graduated from Lawrence County Career and Technical Center as well as New Castle School of Trades. He works at Nicholson’s Landscaping.
The couple have chosen Oct. 25, 2008, as their wedding date. The ceremony will be at the DeCarbo Memorial Chapel and the reception at Gallo’s Italian Villa.
