Kenneth and Julia Meanor of 122 E. Edison Ave., and James and Paula Mahoney of 904 N. Mercer St., are announcing the engagement of their children, Amber Nicole Meanor and James Wendall Mahoney Jr.
Miss Meanor is a graduate of New Castle High School and Butler County Community College. She is a housekeeper at Edison Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Shenango High School. He is a laborer at I.S.A.
The couple intend to marry in 2010 but have not announced a date.
