John and Lena Rosati of 409 E. Reynolds St. are announcing the engagement and future wedding plans for their daughter, Rachael Marie Rosati, and Charles Lindsey Hardester Jr. of 138 E. Sheridan Ave. He is a son of Charles and Patricia Hardester of 921 Morton St.
The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of New Castle High School who earned a bachelor of arts in criminal justice from Youngstown State University. She is a juvenile probation officer of Lawrence County.
The future groom is a 1996 alumnus of Ne-Ca-Hi who received his bachelor of arts degree in computer science, and a master of science degree in multimedia technology, from California University of Pennsylvania. He is director of assessment for Lawrence County.
A wedding on Nov. 29, 2008, is being planned. A Mass will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. at St. Vitus Church. The reception will follow at The Georgetown, Boardman, Ohio.
