The engagement and spring wedding of Kimberly Anne Rapp and Benjamin Ryan Baker, both of Anderson, S.C., are being announced by the bride-elect’s parents, Harold and Marjory Rapp of 115 E. Oakwood Way.

Parents of the prospective groom are Ronald and Patricia Baker of Seneca, S.C.

Miss Rapp is a 1997 graduate of Neshannock High School. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her bachelor of science in 2001 and her master’s degree in 2003. She also holds a degree from Johnson and Wales University, graduating in 2004.

She is food safety and nutrition agent for Clemson University Cooperative Extension Services.

Her fiancé is a 1996 alumnus of Walhalla High School in Walhalla, S.C. He earned a degree in 2000 from Tri-County Tech and another from Clemson University in 2003. He is a retail sales manager.

A May 17, 2008, wedding will take place at Central Presbyterian Church in Anderson, S.C.
