Carol and Richard Harris of Volant, along with Merrilee and Ronald Saccol of Green Bay, Wis., are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Billie Jo Harris and Tony Saccol. The groom’s parents are formerly of New Bedford.

The betrothed are alumni of Wilmington High School.

The bride-to-be graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies. She is employed at Value Behavioral Health, as an administrative assistant/child and adolescent authorization specialist in Hermitage.

The prospective bridegroom also graduated from Pennsylvania State University with an associate degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed with Thomas & Betts, Reznor as an industrial engineer in Mercer.

A Nov. 8, 2008, wedding is planned at Wallace Memorial Chapel at Westminster College.
