•Accident. Police said Becca M. Bly, 19, of Chicora, apparently fell asleep while traveling on Route 19 in Scott Township about 2 p.m. Sunday. Officers said she lost control of her vehicle and struck a road sign and several small trees. No injuries were reported. She was cited for careless driving.

•Burglary. Police said items with an estimated value of $12,968 were taken from a house and garage on Armstrong Road, Portersville, between 4 p.m. Oct. 19 and midnight Oct. 20. Items included jewelry, a laptop computer and tools.

•Michael J. Rubin III, 53, of New Castle, public drunkenness and similar misconduct, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and institutional vandalism/personal property.
