Man wanted in alleged knife robbery

NEW CASTLE — A North Hill man is accused of holding a woman hostage and robbing her at knifepoint.

The woman told New Castle police that Justin Barry had held a knife to her throat and demanded money. She called the police about the incident around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Barry, 25, of Apt. F, 1214 Highland Ave., was acquainted with the woman, according to police.

The woman said Barry had called her Monday evening and asked her to go to his apartment because he wasn’t feeling well. When she got there, she continued, he said he wanted $20 so he could buy some drugs.

She refused to give him money and he became agitated, she told police. She said he tried to take the money from the front pocket of her coat and she resisted. He then pulled out a pocket knife, placed it at her throat and took money out of her pocket, she said.

He told her he wouldn’t let her leave, and she called the police. She then videotaped Barry standing across the room with the knife hidden behind his back. She said he left because he was afraid the police were coming.

Barry is charged with robbery, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, theft and receiving stolen property.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
