•Malcolm Jones, 19, of New Castle, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.

•Zak Pagano, 18, of New Castle, disorderly house.

•Teondrea Waller, 26, of New Castle, disorderly house.

•Lisa S. McCune, 28, of New Castle, four counts of endangering the welfare of children.

•Angela Ballard, 45, of New Castle, disorderly house.

•Andre Hall, 36, of New Castle, simple assault and harassment.

•Gerald M. Scott, 24, of New Galilee, charged by North Beaver Township police with restricting fires and open burning violation.

•Kiley Wynn, 40, of New Castle, charged by the Lawrence County district attorney with bad checks.

State police charged the following people:

•Kristin D. Fisher, 23, of Pittsburgh, possession of marijuana.

•Anthony Michael Grad, 25, of Huron, Ohio, possession of marijuana.

Ellwood City police charged the following people:

•Michael F. Griggle, 40, of Ellwood City, two counts of simple assault and one count of harassment.

•Anthony J. Washington Jr., 20, of Ellwood City, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

•Quinn M. Lowry, 26, of New Castle, charged by New Castle police with disorderly conduct.

State police charged the following people:

•Kacy L. Stillwagon, 34, of New Castle, harassment.

•Justin Lee Norris, 35, of Edinburg, simple assault and harassment.

Union Township police charged the following people:

•Stefanie L. McKinney, 18, of New Castle, retail theft.

•Brittney M. Sutton, 21, of New Castle, retail theft.

•Morgan M. Buxton, 19, of New Castle, retail theft.

•Louis A. Domenick, 13, of New Castle, unlawful conduct of minors.

•Jalen Bailey, 18, of New Castle, disorderly conduct.

•Billy Ray Bishop, 31, of New Castle, forgery, theft by deception, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

•Norman Virgil Wilkerson, 49, of Youngstown, retail theft and receiving stolen property.

•Michael Hill, 41, of New Castle, charged by the Lawrence County district attorney with failure to keep dog licensed, failure to apply for dog license and failure to have dog or cat vaccinated.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission charged the following people:

•Robert Scott Jordan, 35, of Volant, season possession bag limits devices violation.

•Andy S. Mast, 22, of New Wilmington, violating the rules and regulations of the commission.

Shenango Township police charged the following people:

•Jennifer Lee Lafaso, 42, of Fairmont, W.Va., disregarding traffic lane and two counts of driving under the influence.

•Gary John Seybert Jr., 34, of New Castle, disregarding traffic lane, failure to keep right, careless driving and two counts of driving under the influence.

•Junior H. Cox, 43, of Clark’s Mills, Pa., two counts of driving under the influence, unlawful operation of snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle while under the influence and unlawful operation on streets and roads.

•Martika Q. Dennis, 19, of New Castle, retail theft and receiving stolen property.

•Christopher J. Magusiak, 20, of Ellwood City, possession of marijuana and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Shane M. Hines, 32, of Pulaski, charged by New Wilmington police with simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

    A woman involved in a fatal accident in Hickory Township has been charged. Laura E. Gargiulo, 42, of 2662 State Route 956, Volant, faces charges of homicide by vehicle and others in the crash that led to the death of Daniel E. Gallatin of Scott Township.

    A Pittsburgh man has been charged with aggravated assault for allegedly breaking another man’s jaw in New Wilmington. Matthew Vincent Wagner, 22, was charged by New Wilmington police as the result of an incident early May 5 at the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity house on Waugh Avenue.

    New Castle police are investigating a robbery on the South Side. A 22-year-old woman told police she had been walking in the alley between Hamilton Street and Pennsylvania Avenue around 3:30 a.m. May 8 when someone grabbed her from behind and punched her numerous times in the left side of her face.

    New Castle police are investigating a report of robbery on Arlington Avenue. A 24-year-old man told police he had been in the 800 block, walking to a friend’s house, around 12:50 a.m. Saturday, when he was jumped by a man who stole his wallet and cell phone.

    Two men on four-wheelers helped New Castle police catch two Remacor burglary suspects. Brian John Scott, 26, and Charles John Mulroy II, 32, both of New Galilee, are accused of breaking in through a hole in Remacor’s fence to steal about 200 feet of wiring, phone line and pipe around 5:45 p.m. Sunday.

    An Ellwood City club has been cited for gambling activities. The Pennsylvania Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement has cited the Ellwood City Saxon Club at 901 Millview St.

    A South Side man and a male juvenile are facing charges for allegedly trying to break into two houses. New Castle police reported the incidents occurred around lunchtime Tuesday.

Yes. If it’s a more efficient way to run the jail, I’m all for it.
No. I think there would be too many questions of liability for the county.
