•Harassment. A Hillsville woman reported that she received a harassing letter Friday at her place of employment.

•DUI. Orville Richard Duncan, 38, of Village Drive, Wayne Township, was charged with two counts of DUI during a traffic stop at 6:38 p.m. Tuesday. He also was charged with three traffic violations. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Jan. 12.

•Theft. Charles H. Patton, 29, of 720 Lawrence Ave., Ellwood City, and Justin Michael Edinger, 27, of 216 1/2 Second St., Ellwood City, were each charged with theft by unlawful taking. Police reported the pair allegedly took $20 from a purse belonging to a Wayne Township resident. A preliminary hearing for Patton and Edinger is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Jan. 12.

•Access device fraud. A Volant resident reported that an unknown person electronically debited $962.77 from his checking account between Oct. 14 and Oct. 29.

•Access device fraud. A Volant woman called the Pennsylvania State Police to report someone had fraudulently used her debit card on Monday to purchase a pizza from an Ellwood City pizzeria. Police learned that the person who placed the order has a similar debit card number. The error occurred when the order was placed.

•Accident. Police reported that a Beaver Falls motorist stuck a deer at 5:30 p.m. yesterday on Route 18, north of Gilmore Road, in North Beaver Township. Alicia A. Gobrich, 23, was driving a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire when the accident occurred. The car was towed. The deer’s fate was not reported.

•Harassment. An Enon Valley woman reported she was shoved and grabbed by a male known to her. The incident took place at 3:39 p.m. yesterday.
