STATE

•Accident. Police said Nicholas S. Pisor, 21, of New Castle was southbound on Route 18 in Wampum at 6:20 a.m. Monday when he pulled his 1999 Dodge Ram 3400 into the northbound lane to pass a vehicle and collided with a southbound 2007 Chevrolet 1500 operated by Charles E. Eisenbraun, 55, of North Lima, Ohio. Eisenbraun was making a left turn onto Darlington Road ahead of the vehicle Pisor was attempting to pass. Police said both drivers sustained minor injuries.

•Criminal mischief. Someone placed a burning bag on the concrete porch of an Arthur Lane, Plain Grove Township, resident at 2 a.m. Nov. 1

•Disorderly conduct. Police said charges were filed against Ronald Hartman, 20, of 142 Andrews Trace and Brandon Mackievich, 19, of 530 Patterson Road, New Galilee, in connection with a 10:25 p.m. incident Monday.

•Theft. Brass fitting safety caps and bodies with the engraved letters “WV” were stolen from a Portersville business between noon and 1 p.m. Thursday.
