•Miscellaneous. A .32-caliber handgun was found at 7:50 p.m. Monday along Mitchell Road, Neshannock Township. Anyone missing the above firearm is asked to contact the New Castle station of the Pennsylvania State Police at (724) 598-2211.

•Accident. A two-vehicle accident took place at 10:50 a.m. on Route 79, Worth Township, Butler County. Police said Andrew T. Rager, 23, of New Castle was attempting to change lanes in his 1995 Mack tri-axle truck. While moving from the left into the right lane, Rager’s truck struck the left side of a 2005 Honda Civic LX. Kristin K. Grossman, 21, of Slippery Rock was the driver. Grossman’s vehicle went across Route 79 and struck concrete barriers located on the east berm. Grossman suffered minor injuries.
