Police: Reports for Feb. 12


•Reckless endangerment. Matthew John Sedor, 32, of Brook Park, Ohio, was charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and multiple traffic offenses. Police said Sedor grabbed the steering wheel of someone who was driving on Interstate 376, Neshannock Township, Jan. 26. The driver lost control, traveled onto the berm, struck a guide rail and went over an embankment.

•Accident. Police said Kaitlyn M. Thomas, 19, of Ellwood City, was northbound on Kennedy Road, Slippery Rock Township, about 10:30 p.m. Feb. 5, when her vehicle went off the right side of the road, climbed an embankment, struck a small tree with its right front, came off the embankment, went across the road and struck another tree.


•Accident. Police said Whylene A. Clark of 218 Smithfield St. pulled from the stop sign on Enclave Drive into the path of a vehicle operated by James Lemmon of 2280 Martha St. about 1:50 p.m. Feb. 5. According to police, Lemmon attempted to avoid the accident but struck Clark’s vehicle. Both vehicles were towed.

•Arrest. Police said Shawn Johnson, 26, of 406 E. Wallace Ave. and Jordan Smiley, 25, of Volant were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after Johnson was stopped for speeding and driving in the center turn lane at Route 18 and Cathcart Drive Feb. 6.
