Robbery charges withdrawn

NEW CASTLE — Charges against Justin Anthony Barry, who was accused in a robbery, have been withdrawn.

New Castle police had arrested Barry, 25, of Apt. F, 1214 Highland Ave., earlier this month and charged him with robbery, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, theft and receiving stolen property.

According to information from the Lawrence County District Attorney’s office, all charges were withdrawn because the alleged victim did not show up to testify at Barry’s preliminary hearing last week.
