Skyview resident accused of burglary

NEW CASTLE — A Skyview Towers resident is facing charges for allegedly burglarizing another apartment in the building.

Police arrested James R. Napolitano, 52, after finding him in a stairwell, bleeding from a cut above his eye around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. He told police he was locked out of his apartment because he had lost his keys.

Another resident of Skyview told police she had visiting a friend’s apartment when Napolitano walked in. She said when she left, she found her apartment door open and blood on her kitchen floor and refrigerator.

The woman said she does not know Napolitano personally.

He is charged with burglary, criminal trespass and public drunkenness. He was arraigned by District Judge David B. Rishel, who set his bond at $2,500.
