To Jonas J. and Sarah J. Miller of Pulaski, a daughter on Sept. 3, 2013, at Horizon Hospital, Farrell.

Police

STATE


•Accident. Police said Gary A. Shay, 24, of Slippery Rock, eastbound on Countyline Road, Scott Township at 6 a.m. Aug. 10, failed to negotiate a curve. Police said Shay’s car left the road, re-entered the road and left again, striking a tree. No injuries were reported. Shay was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

District judges

New Castle police charged the following people:

•Thomas Lee McCue Jr., 26, of New Castle, two counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of intent to possess a controlled substance.

•Robert Lee Gravatt, 24, of New Castle, three counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and one count each of intent to possess a controlled substance, driving with no rear lights and driving without a license.
