•Diane Lidey, 27, of New Castle, burglary, conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, and three counts each o possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and possession.
•Elizabeth Strohecker, 28, of New Castle, theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.
•Kaley Corrin Merk, 28, of New Castle, two counts of receiving stolen property.
•Jessie Michelle Short, 25, of New Castle, two counts of giving false identification to a law officer.
•Jared White, 25, of New Castle, simple assault and two counts of harassment.
•Vickie Lawson, 53, of New Castle, disorderly house.

State police have charged the following:
•Ralph L. Pounds Sr., 72, of Ellwood City, control of alarm devices violation.
•Jesse Ross Samsa, 40, of Ellwood City, theft, receiving stolen property, driving an unregistered vehicle, improper display of license plate, driving without a license, driving while license suspended, operating vehicle without insurance and operating vehicle without valid inspection.
•William Edward Balin Jr., 22, of Ellwood City, two counts of burglary, two counts of conspiracy, two counts of criminal trespass, two counts of theft and two counts of criminal mischief.
Ellwood City police have the following:
•Marlane Maureen Heater, 41, of Ellwood City, retail theft and public drunkenness.
•Mark Lee Jackson, 18, of New Castle, theft, three counts of conspiracy, four counts of receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
•Brooke A. Cisco, 16, of Ellwood City, criminal mischief and harassment.

•Alicia Carnahan, 14, of New Castle, charged by the Laurel school district with disorderly conduct.
•Alexander Tyler Stillwagon, 20, of Ellwood City, charged by Shenango Township police with four counts each of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
The Lawrence County District Attorney has charged the following:
•Brian Michael Robinson, 35, of New Castle, cruelty to animals.
•David Randall Robson, 44, of New Castle, two counts each of failure to keep dog licensed, failure to have dog or cat vaccinated and failure to apply for dog license.
State police have charged the following:
•William Edward Balin Jr., 22, of Ellwood City, burglary, conspiracy, criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief.
•Jennifer Park, 35, of New Castle, receiving stolen property and two counts of conspiracy.
•Dana M. Henderson, 18, of New Castle, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.
•Lewis Robert Miller, 54, of Wampum, two counts of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lane and careless driving.
•New Castle Industries, control of alarm devices violation.

•Anthony J. Mazzocchi Jr., 19, of Shippenville, Pa., burglary, criminal trespass, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor and possession of a controlled substance.
•Nicholas Ryan Hainsey, 19, of New Paris, Pa., burglary, criminal trespass and purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.
•Patrick John Dever, 22, of Salt Lake City, Utah, burglary, criminal trespass and hindering apprehension or prosecution.

Two injured in Mill Street, Taylor accidents
Two people were injured in a pair of accidents Thursday, New Castle police reported. One involved a car that went over an embankment off West Pittsburg Road in Taylor Township around noon.

Drug charges filed after raid
Police have charged four people arrested during a drug raid Wednesday in Union Township. Members of the Lawrence County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force executed a sealed search warrant at 27 Spring St. All four suspects live at that address, according to court records.

North Hill man hospitalized after crash
A New Castle man who hit a tree in Pulaski Township has been admitted to St. Elizabeth Health Center. According to Pulaski Township police, Adam Welsh, 36, of 202 E. Fairmont Ave., was eastbound on Route 422 about 1:30 a.m. Thursday when his pickup truck left the road.

East Side garage ‘total loss’ in fire
The New Castle police department fire investigator was called for a blaze at a garage. The three-bay garage at 626 Superior St. was a total loss, according to New Castle firefighters, who were called about 11:40 p.m. Wednesday. They remained at the scene until nearly 3 a.m.

Hearings in fatal crashes are postponed
A hearing for the woman accused of striking a police cruiser and killing a Shenango Township officer has been rescheduled. Kylee Gwen Barletto, 26, of 693 Hoover Road, will face a preliminary hearing at 1 p.m. June 6. It had been scheduled for Thursday morning.

Shenango man accused of breaking into car
A Shenango man was arrested after he allegedly was caught breaking into a car on New Castle’s East Side. New Castle police charged Jessie Lauderbaugh, 23, of Highview Drive with fleeing from police, theft from a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct and loitering and prowling at night.

Police arrest four in Union Township drug raid
Four people were arrested and drugs and a gun were confiscated Wednesday when police raided a house in Union Township. Union Township police, with the Lawrence County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force and New Castle police special response team and narcotics unit, served a sealed search warrant at 27 Spring St. just before 6:30 a.m.

Man charged as store burglary accomplice
New Castle police have arrested a South Side man for his alleged role in a convenience store burglary. Alex John Benkosky, 21, of 821 S. Mercer St., is accused as an accomplice in the March 26 break-in at the Country Fair on Croton Avenue.
