HARRISBURG —
Warrants have been issued for three men who are suspects in a shooting on the city’s East Side.
New Castle police are seeking Nicholas Daniel McCue, 19, of 1005 Highland Ave., Albert Scott Tedrow Jr., 24, of 661 Sixth St., West Pittsburg, and Marcus Alexander Stanton, 18, of 709 Countyline St.
As of Friday evening, they had not been arrested.
McCue faces charges of attempted criminal homicide, robbery, aggravated assault, possession of firearms by a person not entitled to carry firearms, possession of firearms without a license, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and criminal conspiracy to commit robbery.
Tedrow and Stanton face charges of criminal conspiracy to commit robbery.
The victim was shot in the throat and chest Nov. 6 when someone knocked on his Adams Street door and demanded cash. Police said Segers was flown to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
In court papers, police said the victim told them he did not know the shooter but provided a description. Officers said all communication was done in writing because the victim had a tracheotomy as a result of the shooting.
Based on that, officers charged Christopher J. Little, 24, of 115 Midville Road, Wampum, who matched the description of the shooter. Little faced a dozen charges, including attempted homicide.
However, all 12 charges against Little were withdrawn Friday.
According to police, after Little’s arrest early last month, they were contacted by an informant who said Tedrow had told the informant he knows someone who has a lot of cash.
Police said the informant told them McCue had agreed to do the robbery and the three suspects and the informant drove to Adams Street in Stanton’s car. The informant said he watched McCue, wearing a dark hoodie, walk up to the porch, knock on the door and demand money.
He said the victim grabbed for the gun, which was fired three or four times.
