Shenango Township police charged the following people:
•Jacob R. Isenberg, 17, of New Castle, retail theft.
•Rene A. Isabella, 54, of Wampum, harassment.
•Charity Lynn Isabella, 29, of Wampum, harassment.
•Zachary Dean Moffatt, 34, of New Castle, two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving.

•Michael Paul Ayersman, 28, New Castle — Seventy-seven days to 23 1/2 months in the Lawrence County jail with credit for 77 days served, costs of prosecution, $321 restitution to the victim. He pleaded guilty to access device fraud.
•Elissa Ann Heemer, 30, New Castle — Six months probation, costs of prosecution, $1.58 restitution to Walmart. She pleaded guilty to retail theft.
•Heather Ward, 22, Ellwood City — Eighteen months probation, costs of prosecution, $554 restitution to the victim. She pleaded guilty to resisting arrest.
•Keylin D. Shaw, 26, Youngstown — Costs of prosecution, $300 fine, $2,200 restitution to the victim. He pleaded guilty to failing to render aid or report an accident.
•Brandon Michael Levine, 19, New Wilmington — Two years probation, costs of prosecution and $295 restitution to the victim. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to receive stolen property.
•Malinda Marie Greene, 41, Wampum — Ninety days on intermediate punishment program with the entire time to be served on house arrest. She pleaded guilty to driving while operating privileges are suspended.
•Malinda Marie Greene, 41, Wampum —Two years in the intermediate punishment program with the first 90 days on house arrest to be served consecutively with any other sentence being served, costs of prosecution, license suspension for 18 months. She pleaded guilty to driving under the influence.

Man charged as store burglary accomplice
New Castle police have arrested a South Side man for his alleged role in a convenience store burglary. Alex John Benkosky, 21, of 821 S. Mercer St., is accused as an accomplice in the March 26 break-in at the Country Fair on Croton Avenue.

Man accused of cutting woman
A New Castle man is accused of allegedly assaulting a Crestview Gardens woman. Police said Dajoi Taylor, 19, of 509 W. North St. allegedly hit an 18-year-old woman in the cheek with a purple eyebrow razor and pulled the weave out of her hair during an encounter around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Vacant house burns on South Side
A vacant South Side house burned Monday morning. New Castle firefighters were called at 12:50 a.m. to 510 Galbreath St. They said the structure “was fully involved” when they arrived and flames could be seen on all four sides of the building.

Man reports being pistol whipped
A Detroit man reported to New Castle police he had been pistol whipped by two men in Crestview Gardens. The man told police the incident occurred around 3 p.m. Wednesday on Parkwood Court.

Police: Dog had no food, water or space
A Lower East Side woman is facing charges for allegedly leaving her dog without food or water during hot temperatures.

Cleaners cause fire in vacant Halco unit
Lawrence County Housing Authority employees cleaning a vacant unit sparked a blaze Monday, according to city firefighters. The fire just before noon in the Halco Drive apartment caused $10,000 damage to the kitchen, they said.

Business ‘total loss’ after fire
A Little Beaver Township business was destroyed when a fire started in a garage. Enon Valley Volunteer Fire Chief Ben Hostetler said the blaze broke out about 12:20 a.m. Sunday in the garage of John Curea at 1791 State Route 551.

Vacant house fire may have been intentional
A vacant house on the city’s West Side burned over the weekend. The New Castle police department fire investigator has been called to determine what caused a blaze at 418 Conn St., near Bell Avenue.

Ex-attorney faces new set of charges
A disbarred attorney, already jailed on theft-related charges, is facing a new criminal case. Michael Frisk, formerly of Ellwood City and now serving time in the Lawrence County jail, is charged with forgery and other counts for allegedly taking money from an Allegheny County client.

Man charged in South Side break-in
A South Side man accused of breaking into a neighbor’s vacant house is facing charges. Alex John Benkosky, 21, of 821 S. Mercer St. faces one count each of burglary, criminal trespass, flight to avoid apprehension and criminal mischief.
