Police: Reports for Dec. 3

•Burglary. Police said they responded to a burglary in progress at a Woodland Hills Home Tuesday. Officer took three people into custody and impounded their vehicle. One, Autumn Rose Hartzell, 20, of 3214 Ellwood Road, was arrested and arraigned on charges of attempted burglary. She was placed in the Lawrence County jail in lieu of $10,000 bond. The other two people were released, but police said their investigation is continuing.

•Burglary. Police are investigating two business burglaries, one on Old Butler Road and other on Ellwood Road, where rocks were thrown through windows to gain entries. The incidents occurred around 4 a.m. Nov. 24.

•Retail theft. Police charged Alice Romona Conti, 55, of 1504 Thorpe St. with attempting to take $305.57 in merchandise from Kmart in Lawrence Village Plaza Nov. 23.

•Retail theft. Police charged Lori Ann Quear, 48, of 401-18 Neshannock Ave. with retail theft after a Nov. 14 incident at Kmart. She was accused of taking $104.17 in merchandise.
