District judges

New Castle police charged the following:

•Joshua Maurice Chandler, 20, of New Castle, simple assault, harassment, criminal attempt and conspiracy.

•Jasper Harris Williams, 22, of Beaver Falls, Pa., simple assault, harassment and two counts of conspiracy.

•Raymond L. Murray III, 18, of New Castle, simple assault, harassment and two counts of conspiracy.

•Nancy Lynn Peterson, 59, of Clover, S.C., theft and receiving stolen property.

New Castle's code enforcement department charged the following:

•Mary E. Wilkins, of New Castle, failure to cut weeds or grass.

•Kee Seung Hong, failure to cut weeds or grass.

•Lindsey L. Cope, 25, of Ellwood City, charged by Ellwood City police with four counts of endangering the welfare of children and one count each of public drunkenness and similar misconduct and disorderly conduct.

•Angela Kirkland, 44, of New Castle, charged by New Castle police with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.

•Matthew Paul Spielvogel, 27, of Ellwood City, charged by state police with two counts each of burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

•Marian Burke, 71, of New Castle, charged by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission with littering near waters.

•Patricia Favorite, 65, of New Castle, charged by Shenango Township police with public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

•Alex John Benkosky, 21, of New Castle, charged by Neshannock Township police with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
