STATE


•Arrest. Police said Michael S. Pryce, 43, of Stow, Ohio, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol after his car became disabled while traveling on the Pennsylvania Turnpike through Little Beaver Township Saturday.

•Theft. Police said juveniles removed cash, cigarettes and prescription medication from a Liberty Street home in Pulaski between 2 and 6 a.m. Sunday. Police were told the juveniles had been invited to stay overnight at the home.

•Theft. An electric meter was taken from a building on Shaffer Road, Slippery Rock Township, between April 20 and Tuesday.

•Accident. Police said a deer ran into the side of a vehicle driven by Peter J. Leck II, 24, of New Wilmington, as he was eastbound on Route 208 in Pulaski Township about 2 a.m. yesterday. Leck, who was uninjured, said he had tried to swerve but could not avoid the animal. Following impact, he said, he pulled to the right side of the berm and the deer went to the left side berm where it was found dead.

BUTLER COUNTY


•Crash. Police said a deer ran onto the highway in front of a vehicle driven by Laura M. Conti, 24, of New Castle, northbound on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township, Butler County, about 1 a.m. May 15. Police said Conti was not injured but her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed.

•Coy Price of New Castle, charged by New Castle’s code enforcement department with two counts of exterior paint violation.

•Nicholas Eugene Paglialong, 22, of New Castle, charged by New Wilmington police with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, intent to possess a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

New Castle police charged the following people:

•Duane Germaine Evans, 31, of New Castle, intent to possess a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and driving with license suspended.

•Sanford L. Jackson Jr., 30, of New Castle, four counts of intent to possess a controlled substance, two counts of disseminating or publishing false or misleading advertising, and one count of use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Shawn M. Randall, 19, of New Castle, two counts of intent to possess a controlled substance and one count each of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.

•Joseph M. Brown, 56, of New Castle, public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

State police charged the following people:

•Michael Shannon Pryce, 43, of Stow, Ohio, two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of abandoning vehicle on highway and careless driving.

•James Gerazounis, 19, of Enon Valley, three counts of driving under the influence and one count each of purchase of alcoholic beverage by a minor, minor prohibited operating with alcohol, no headlights and failure to use safety belt.

Ellwood City police charged the following people:

•Travis A. Aradi, 18, of Ellwood City, intent to possess a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Louis Bove, 20, of Ellwood City, harassment.
