•Theft. Someone took a registration plate from a trailer parked in the 400 block of Norwood Avenue Monday.

•Burglary. Someone broke into a shed in the 1400 block of 14th Street in West Pittsburg overnight Monday to Tuesday. Taken were a Craftsman lawn mower, a weed whacker, a Craftsman tool chest with tools and two rolls of copper flashing. The value of the items taken was listed at $5,775.

•Burglary. A lawnmower valued at $500 was taken from a shed in the 1300 block of 13th Street overnight Monday to Tuesday. Five gallons of gasoline also were taken.

•Theft. A garage door opener and about $80 were taken from two vehicles parked in the 700 block of Fairmont Avenue overnight Sunday to Monday.

•Hit-and-run. A southbound vehicle on East Washington Street near Winslow Avenue was struck from behind by another vehicle Tuesday, which then left the scene. Police said damage was light.
