To Jessica and Brian Leasure of New Castle, a daughter on June 7, 2014.

To Crystal Stewart and Stephen D. Threats of New Castle, a daughter on June 7, 2014, in Horizon Hospital, Farrell.

To Christina Lynn Thompson and Joseph Charles Kenneally of Imperial, Pa., a daughter on June 1, 2014, at Heritage Valley Sewickley Hospital.

Police

STATE


•Theft. A dirt bike was taken from a Wampum Road home in North Beaver Township overnight June 3 to  June 4.

•Criminal mischief. Police said the paint was scratched on the right quarter panel of a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta parked on Mathews Roadin Mahoning Township, between   May 31 and June 1.

•Criminal Mischief. Someone smashed the front window of a gift shop on Mount Jackson Road in  North Beaver Township, between 6 p.m. June 3  and 2:20 p.m. June 4.

NESHANNOCK TOWNSHIP

•Theft. A green jet motor quad, red street bike, yellow quad, white quad and red quad were reported taken from a Kings Chapel Road residence between Thursday and Saturday. Anyone with information is asked to call the Neshannock police at (724) 656-9300.

New Castle's code enforcement department charged the following:

•George Aubrey, of Butler, Pa., stairways, decks, porches and balconies violation and foundation walls violation.

•Joel W. Segers, of New Castle, exterior paint violation, handrails and guards violation and stairways, decks, porches and balconies violation.

•Angelo L. Gasborro, of New Castle, sanitation of exterior property areas violation and failure to cut weeds or grass.

•Karen Irene Logan, 62, of New Castle, failure to register residential rental property.

•Christine Irene Logan, 33, of New Castle, failure to register residential rental property.

•James Winschel, 32, of Erie, Pa., failure to cut weeds or grass.

SCOTT A. MCGRATH


•Thomas Steven Strain, 44, of Burgettstown, Pa., charged by the Lawrence County district attorney with bad checks and theft of services.
