Police

STATE

•Theft. Scrap vehicle parts  were reported stolen from Princeton Auto Repair on Church Road on June 21.

•Theft. Four jars of honey were reported stolen from a front-yard stand on Rose Point Road, Slippery Rock Township on June 18.

•Accident Police said Michael B. Church, 26, of New Castle was driving  west on Route 208 in Washington Township at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, and apparently failed to negotiate a curve at Fassinger Lane. His car went off   the road, hit an embankment and overturned. Church was treated at Jameson Hospital then released.

•Theft. A purse was stolen from a car parked   McConnell’s Mill in Slippery Rock Township, between 5 and 5:30 p.m.  May 27.

•Brian R. Fetty, 31, of Girard, Ohio, retail theft and receiving stolen property.

•David Michael Monrean, 20, of New Castle, two counts each of theft by deception, theft by unlawful taking, retail theft and conspiracy.

•Ward Wise, 22, Franklin, Pa. — Five to 10 years incarceration in a state correctional institution with credit for 134 days served and costs of prosecution. He pleaded guilty to robbery.

•Ryan Anthony DeFonde, 24, Ellwood City — Seven to 231⁄2 months incarceration in the Lawrence County jail, followed by three years probation, costs of prosecution and $90 restitution to Barkan Pawn Shop. He pleaded guilty to criminal conspiracy to commit burglary.

•Ryan Anthony DeFonde, 24, Ellwood City — Seven to 231⁄2 months incarceration in the Lawrence County jail with credit for 132 days served and costs of prosecution. He pleaded guilty to robbery.

 

Dominick Motto

•Brett Anthony Devido, 34, New Castle — Two years intermediate punishment program with the first 90 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring; costs of prosecution; $1,500 fine; assessment by Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol; license suspension 18 months. He pleaded guilty to DUI.

•Terrance D. Shelby, 28, Beaver Falls — Four years probation concurrent with any other sentence being served, plus costs of prosecution. He pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance.

•Terrance D. Shelby, 28, Beaver Falls — Four years probation, concurrent with any other sentence being served, plus and costs of prosecution. Any contraband in possession of the commonwealth is forfeited. He pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance.

•Terrance D. Shelby, 28, Beaver Falls — Costs of prosecution and $300 fine. He pleaded guilty to defiant trespass.
