STATE

•Accident. Police said Bryan S. Wilson, 34, of Jamestown was southbound on Interstate 376 in Neshannock Township at 7:55 a.m. Friday when his 2005 Chevrolet Aveo struck a deer that ran across the highway. Wilson was not injured.

BUTLER COUNTY

•Accident. Lindsay R. Iorio, 27, of New Castle was stopped at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday in the left turn lane of Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township, behind a 1987 GMC Sierra operated by Julie L. Carangia, 47, of Slippery Rock. According to police, Carangia began to back up, striking Iorio’s 2009 Ford Escape. No injuries were reported.
