STATE
•Criminal mischief. Someone damaged a mailbox post on Marr Road in Pulaski Township between 8 p.m. Saturday and 6:50 a.m. Sunday.
•Theft. A John Deere Gator was removed from a parking lot near the Wayne Township Fire Department between June 11 and Monday.
•Attempted burglary. Someone tried to enter a home on M&M Lane in New Beaver Borough between June 11 and 12.
•Attempted burglary. Someone tried to enter a home on Harlansburg Road on May 29. The person first tried opening a window, then threw a landscaping rock through the window of a set of French doors and tried to reach through the hole in the glass and unlock the door form the inside. Another landscaping rock was thrown through the window of the kitchen door, and entry was gained by reaching through the hole and unlocking that door. A dresser in the second floor master bedroom was ransacked and the closet was rifled through. Nothing was taken from that room. Police said a jewelry box was taken from another bedroom on the second floor. A complete inventory of missing items is pending.
•Burglary. A basement window was broken out by someone who entered a home on Grant City Road, Slippery Rock Township, on June 2. Taken were a Hewlett Packard laptop computer, currency, various items of women’s jewelry and a Taurus Track .22-caliber handgun.
•Theft. Two copper downspouts valued at $50 were removed from a home on Grant City Road, Slippery Rock Township between May 31 and June 3.
•Access device fraud. Someone obtained the bank account number an Old State Road, Slippery Rock Township, resident and made multiple transactions in Indiana and Canada between May 26 and 30. The total amount was $463.53.

•Criminal mischief. A radio was pulled from a car on East Meyer Avenue and was reported to police about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. The dashboard was also damaged, police said, adding the radio was valued at $100. Neighbors told police they noticed two males in the area about 2 a.m. but could not provide a description.
•Criminal mischief. A resident of Grimes Street returned from work about 8 a.m. Wednesday to find a 6-foot board laying on the hood of a car. The front windshield was broken, police said, and the rear hatch door was dented. The windshield is valued at $400, and the hatch door is $200 in value.
•Criminal mischief. Someone broke the driver’s side window of a 1990 Lincoln belonging to a Forrest Street resident as it was parked at the resident. Scuff marks also were visible on the windshield. No damage estimate was available, police said.
