SHENANGO TOWNSHIP

•Theft. Police apprehended two Portersville men, one 33 the other 29, allegedly caught in the act of stealing aluminum from behind a business on New Butler Road about 10 p.m. Sunday. The men were not identified by police.

STATE

•Theft. A Sony PlayStation, three games and cash were reported taken from an Eastbrook-Harlansburg Road house by two “house guests.” Police said the incident took place between May 5 and Saturday.

•Scattering rubbish. Police said Jeremy Lee Gray, 24, of 704 1/2 N. Mercer St. was accused of depositing waste on a Possum Hollow Road property in New Beaver Borough between 2 p.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

•Theft. Lumber valued at $500 was reported taken from a Cheeseman Road, Portersville, property between 10 a.m. and noon Sunday.

•Theft. Construction equipment was taken and a skid loader damaged at a construction site a quarter-mile east of Route 388 in Slippery Rock Township. Police said the items, owned by Swank Associate Co. of New Kensington, had been there since April 29. No time was provided for the theft.
