NEW CASTLE
•Hit-and-run accident. Nikieda Snow, 21, of 1804 W. Washington St. told police she was westbound on West Washington Street near Smithfield Street at 8:45 p.m. Friday when a white Honda Accord pulled from the side of the road and hit her gold Daewoo. No injuries were reported. Police later learned that another police department had stopped a white Honda driven by Aaron Colyer, 26, of 204 Beechwood Blvd., Pulaski, on Route 224 at Route 551. Colyer’s car had front-end damage and gold paint on its bumper, police said. Officers said Colyer will be charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and traffic violations.
NESHANNOCK TOWNSHIP
•Theft. A woman told police she had left her wallet on the counter of Hoss’s Steak House, 2409 Wilmington Road, at 6 p.m. April 30. When she returned, she said, it was gone.
•Accident. Braden A. Ray, 19, of 1019 McGary Road, New Wilmington, told police he had swerved to miss a deer while westbound on McGary Road about 6 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle left the road and hit a tree. Police said no injuries were reported but Ray’s vehicle was towed.
